Twirly Template Freebie

So DH and I went out on a shopping adventure for a twin stroller (that accomodates the infant carseats)... decided to come back home and do some research online - so no major purchase made yet... (and if any of you have personal experience.. it's welcomed!)
I just wanted to pop on and say THANKS to those of you have jumped on my Grab Bag this month :) Also - the 40% Storewide sale will only be in effect for a few more days.
For those of you who are going to be scrapping during the Super Bowl tomorrow - here's a template to help out :) Enjoy and thanks for all of the comments you guys have been leaving lately:)

  4. Beautiful Template!!!

For the stroller - I spent months searching and here are the final two strollers that I looked at :

Combi Twin Savvy - accommodates only their own car seat. Nice stroller but I didn't love their car seat and since I already had a Graco from my 2 year old I kept looking.

Zooper Tango - I bought this stroller and LOVE it! Accommodates most brands of car seats - I use my Graco with it.

Happy to share more info if you would like :)

  18. Thanks for the template! For our twins we went all out and got the Peg Perego Duette stroller. I HIGHLY recommend it - get the car seats with it, it is the BEST twin stroller (a lot of) money can buy. If people want to get you gifts, ask for donations towards a stroller and raise money for it that way. It is soooo worth it. It even has a steering wheel which is so helpful! I read back about the day you found out - if you care to, you can go back to my very first post and read our reaction too:) It was very similar! Take care and all the best with your pregnancy!

  19. Shandy, this template is gorgeous! I love love love this new swirl look! (Maybe there will be more in a flourishy set, hmmm?) :)

As for strollers, I don't know if they have a twin version, but we love our Peg Perego. We got it over 5 years ago, and it is still in fantastic shape, and I know from friends, that typically isn't the case with other brands of strollers. It does take their own infant carseat, don't know whether others will fit, but this baby can go anyway, including in the awful snow we've been having lately. And that's pretty helpful!

  20. LOL, I guess I should have read the other comments all the way through before replying...I see from the post above mine, there is a twin version of Perego. Well worth the money, and getting people to donate towards that is a great idea, because with all your previous babies, you probably don't need much of anything else (except perhaps one or two dresses?!)

  25. Thank for the template. It is gorgeous. I'll talk with my sister tomorrow and ask about her stroller (her kids are only a year apart). I know she was really happy with her.

  26. Combi Twin Stroller -it is only as wide as a wheelchair and they sit side by side. If you ever have an issue, they replace it (mine got replaced once with my twins...) It is only 15 pounds so it is so light to use... it doesn't work with the baby carriers though - but for us the lightweight and portability was key.

Good luck! Darling template too - thank you! :)

  27. Thank you for the template. I don't have twins, but Marilyn at arunningstroller.com is fabulous at answering questions and has good prices and free shipping on her products. When I was preggo I got on a stroller discussion board at ivillage and those ladies were fantastic (car seat board, too). Janet

  35. Hey, thanks for the freebie...found you via IkeaGoddess.

If I were you I would check out Phil & Ted strollers. I have the double sport buggy and it's fantastic!! My girls were right at 2 years apart, so I knew I would need for both to be able to ride. This stroller is more "stacked" then side by side or front/back, so it's like the size of a single and has the maneuvering of a single. I get people staring at it and asking questions all the time. Check out picture of it here (although you can buy it lots of different places...I ordered mine online after a friend in my area had one and I was able to see it in person). http://www.pippinmcgee.com/store/p/627-Red-Double-Sport-Stroller-by-Phil-and-Teds.aspx?feed=Froogle

We have LOVED this stroller. It's just not bulky like other doubles, and it has the capability to "form" several different riding scenarios. My youngest is now almost 3 and still fits in the bottom seat fine. I know you can work 1 carrier on this stroller, so if you need two, they also have a side by side that would probably work....great tires and parts!

  41. Twin strollers - the "right" one really hasn't been designed. LOL

I would really recommend getting the snap-n-go in the beginning while they are in the infant carriers - that way you really get a feel for your kids and find out whether you hate a tandem & really want a side-by-side or you'd like a lightweight tandem in the long run. I would stay away from the GracoDuoglider - not that its bad (I had one too). I ended up with a double jogger with a front swivel wheel and love it. I got the Schwinn and it has the largest canopy of any I've seen - my kids are completely covered and they love it. A stroller is an investment and since it should last 3-4 years its worth not getting some baby stuff that they outgrow so fast (bouncers, swings, pack-n-plays) and get a stroller that will be put to the test.

  42. Thanks for the template.
Here in Portland there is a group called full house moms for mothers of twins. A group like that would be good to connect with, you could get suggestions for many products and you might even be able to find someone who is ready to sell their twin stroller.
